Arizona federal judge says Trump does not have the power to stop asylum claims
A federal judge in Arizona found President Donald Trump does not have the power to deny migrants the chance to make asylum claims and stopped the deportation of an Iranian woman who federal officials had blocked from seeking asylum. Fatemeh Tabatabaeifar, 22, was detained in Arizona 12 miles north of the Mexico border in February, her attorney Taher Kameli said.
