For our client’s case to be successful, we provided USCIS with extensive documentation proving his contributions to his field, including his articles, research positions, recommendation letters, and numerous pieces of literature pointing to his endeavor’s substantial merit and national importance. Additionally, through extensive documentation, we successfully argued that our client would serve the U.S. national interest. As a result, his Form I-140 was approved on December 02, 2019.
Another approval of an EB-2 NIW for an artist
Field: Interdisciplinary Arts and Media
Degree: Master’s degree
Position at the time of case filing: University Graduate
Solo and Group Exhibitions: 6
Recommendation Letters: 22
Appreciation Letters: 2
Scholarship: Yes
Request for Evidence: No
Case Summary:
Six months after the Kameli Law filed Form I-140 for an artist, USCIS approved her case without issuing an RFE (Request for Evidence). As opposed to engineering, medical, scientific, and natural sciences fields which articles and citations are mostly relied on to demonstrate an individual’s qualification for EB-2 NIW approval, the results of work including exhibitions are an important factor in approvals for people with an artistic background.
Our client’s proposed endeavor focused on public art and aesthetic education, particularly related to children. Her goal was to utilize what she has learned to develop new art education programs affordable to the general public, and then advance such educational programs through startup art institutions and other facilities to achieve a greater connection between art and the public.
We made arguments as to the substantial merit of our client’s endeavor in education development as well as creative thinking, and its national importance in making art education more accessible and affordable, amongst others. We also included evidence for her being well-positioned to advance her prospective endeavor including but not limited to certificates of 6 solo and group exhibitions, scholarships, 22 recommendation letters, and coverage of her artwork in newspapers and magazines.
Thanks to our team’s efforts, her case was approved on August 07, 2019. We are glad for her success.

In this case, we represented a Wushu champion and coach who sought to file Form I-140 to obtain U.S. permanent residency. Our strategy was not only to showcase our client’s track record of success in the field of Wushu but to demonstrate that he is beyond his peers. Supporting documents including his national and international awards and medals, appreciation letters, and interviews with newspapers were submitted to USCIS.
Since our client did not possess an advanced degree, we needed to establish his eligibility for the EB-2 preference category as an individual of exceptional ability. To this aim, we submitted on behalf of the client documents including five official certificates from Iran’s Wushu Federation (evidencing our client’s advanced skills in Wushu), and recognition for achievements and significant contributions to the field by peers and governmental entities. Convinced with our arguments, USCIS determined that the client’s perspective endeavor of Wushu coaching benefits the United States.
